Community Services League is Leading the Fight Against COVID

The Missouri Chamber has launched a COVID Stops Here campaign calling on employers across the state to talk to employees about the importance of being vaccinated.

Companies and other workplaces that reach a 70% vaccination rate are eligible to receive the COVID Stops Here designation. There are separate designations for companies that reach 80% and then 90% vaccination rates.

We are celebrating employers that are leading the fight against this virus — and encouraging more Blue Springs workplaces to join their ranks, by sharing their stories. If your business has reached 70% or higher vaccination status, let us know and we'll be sure to celebrate you too!

As a social service agency it is imperative to Community Services League (CSL) that we continue to stay open to assist families that have been impacted by pandemic.  It is also imperative that we keep our staff protected so that they are able to do their jobs while working with the public.  These are unprecedented times for everyone and we need to work together for the greater good.

Easy access early on was a motivator to getting staff vaccinated. "With 62 employees, our CEO worked with the local governments and was able to get our agency declared a first responder in the pandemic which allowed our staff to get vaccinated." says Melodie Chrisman, Vice President - Income Supports & Blue Springs Site Manager. The vaccine was offered first to all staff members and then family members.  CSL has also become a place to obtain a vaccine during the recent months.
